Peter Kwok, Managing Partner

Mr. Kwok has held various management positions in MNCs such as Courtaulds International Paints, Memorex, and Times Publishing and has been engaged in private equity investment and corporate advisory activities over the last 10 years. He has experience both in areas such as property development, construction and building materials, leisure and entertainment, publishing and distribution as well as the new economy areas such as IT and life sciences. He has also direct hands-on experience in investing into PRC as well as advising several PRC parties who have targeted to participate in the capital markets of South East Asia.

Mr. Kwok is a graduate of both Cambridge and London (London Business School) Universities holding undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics and business.

Leong Kwok Seng, Managing Partner

Mr Leong was most recently GM of ECICS Limited overseeing marketing and business development functions. Prior to this, he was GM of International Factors (Singapore) Ltd since 1995. He joined the Group in June 1983 and was seconded to PT Niaga International Factors (Indonesia) in 1990 as its General Manager to set-up the factoring operations. Mr Leong has more than 20 years experience in financial services sector and has extensive knowledge in risk management, credit analysis and the entire spectrum of factoring and loan operations.

Mr Leong holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Birmingham.

Jeffrey Paine, Venture Partner

Mr. Paine is currently a Vice President of First America Asia Fund II, L.P. a manufacturing focused private equity firm based in the US, UK and Shanghai. Prior to that, Mr. Paine was an Investment Manager for MPH Ventures, a S$20 million corporate venture capital fund of MPH Limited (now part of Singapore Press Holdings Limited) in Singapore, specializing in venture capital investments in the Media, and Technology sectors.

Before joining MPH Ventures, Mr. Paine worked as a consultant at KPMG LLP in Los Angeles.

Mr. Paine graduated from University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration (Information Systems & Operations Management) and a Minor in Cinema-Television and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese.

Ng Wee Teck, Associate Partner (Cleantech)

For the past 3 years, Weeteck has been involved in the Indonesian coal mining industry as owner/operator. He is with PT Bukit Batu Internasional (which is affiliated with KKW in Indonesia) travels extensively within East and South Kalimantan to oversee the mining and loading operations. Maintaining a hands-on approach, combining his financial and engineering background, to further improve the level of professionalism and transparency of the industry.

Previously Weeteck was an Investment Analyst with UOB Asset Management (S$20 billion under management) and a R&D Engineer with automotive specialist Cosworth Technology in Dearborn, Michigan.

Weeteck graduated from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a Bachelors of Science (Mechanical Engineering).

Seow Kok Boon, Associate Partner (Hospitality)

Mr. Seow whose last position was the CEO of Best Western Hotels (Southeast Asia) and has held various hotel management positions over the last 20 years in such groups as Golden Landmark Hotel, Singapore & Belmont Marco Polo, Boulevard Hotel, Marriot Hotel, Royal Plaza, Concorde and Amara Hotel.

He has also consulted for various hotel groups in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam and is also an adjunct professor at NTU Business School.
Mr. Seow is a graduate of National University of Singapore with a Bachelors of Business Administration (Honors) degree and holds a MBA (Hospitality & Tourism Management) from Nanyang Technological University.
