Allen Pathmarajah, Senior Advisor

Mr. Pathmarajah is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Fellow of the Marketing Institute of Singapore. He has extensive experience in Financial Services, Industry and Management Consultancy in England, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Malaysia.

He was for over 22 years with the Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Group (OCBC). Initially for over 10 years (May 1973 to September 1983) as Executive Director of Specialists Services Pte Ltd (Management Consultancy Company of the Group) and concurrently Special Assistant to the Group Chairman. Thereafter for over 12 years (October 1983 to February 1996) he was with Great Eastern Life Assurance Co Ltd as General Manager and subsequently as Managing Director. He continued as a Director until May 1998.

He is currently Executive Chairman of AJP Advisers Pte Ltd (Business Advisers focused on Organizational Transformation through Leadership Development, Strategic and Financial Management) and Chairman of CSA Holdings Ltd (a subsidiary of Computer Sciences Corporation USA), and RichLand Group Ltd (both SGX Listed).

He frequently speaks on Leadership and various management topics to business and public sectors.

Laurence Chan, Advisor

Laurence is a venture capitalist and a pioneer in the venture capital industry in Singapore since 1990. He started two venture capital management firms in Singapore, and has managed 6 venture capital funds investing in over 60 companies in over 10 countries in Asia and USA. In 2001 he started BioInvest Capital a specialized biotechnology technology fund under the sponsorship of TIF Ventures, an investment company of the Economic Development of Singapore.

From 1999 to 2001, he established Fortune Venture Management, a high tech venture capital company with investments in Taiwan, USA and China. He also set up and managed a venture capital fund with funding from Government Investment Corporation of Singapore / National Science and Technology Board under the Government of Singapore US$1 billion Technopreneurship Program, one of the earliest venture capital firm to be given this support.

From 1990 to 1999 he was Deputy Managing Director of NIF Management Pte Ltd, the venture capital division of Daiwa Securities, Japan. Prior to this he held various managerial positions in corporate, commercial, and investment banking in Security Pacific National Bank and First National Bank of Chicago in Singapore from 1982 to 1990. He started his career as an engineer in the Ministry of the Environment 1977-1980.

He is Charted Financial Analyst Charter holder (USA) and holds a Diploma in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing (United Kingdom). He obtained his MBA from University of Manchester, Manchester Business School, United Kingdom, and Bachelor of Engineering from University of Singapore, Singapore.
